The married life routine has started

So we one month on our own now, not much has changed still living in one part of the flat "'roll eyes'' i just cant find the time.Life is so busy i dont know how our mothers ever managed coming home cleaning, cooking, washing clothes ironing the list goes on... lets not forget kids in that eqaution.im just trying to get my head around this new routine, soemtimes its fun but you come home so late, hubby comes home later by that time u exhaughsted, heres to the rest of our lives in routine.

Weekends are already booked out trying to get some sleep shopping for things to fill the house with, or spent in Durban by my parents 'how i miss civilization' did i mention i officially live in a village now.I went from Durban CBD to the Suburbs to the Farm to the Village(officially its called that).

Lets not forget work!im headed for a breakdown stressed out i cnt even think straight most days, i wake up generally with a smile and mentally prepare myself for a good day but soon as i reach campus its downhill, teh university is in a mess Reconfiguration they calling it, we dont know where we will be next year, we dont know anything for now(shrug)

First night in our new apartment

Last night marked our first night in new apartment :D Wowee independance !! thats it lol.so we starting out and teh kitchen is almost complete just the washing machine to put in and it will be so so complete. We still working on the rest of the house im still trying to figure out what to do with so many rooms and so much space, for now i moved our bedroom room into the dining room i dont know why i just feel like i wantto sleep there for now until we turn it into a TV room.

The two bedrooms got carpets and im not too impressed with that so until its been throughly cleaned and theres not a spec of dust we will move our bed into there.

I havent been well with a minor accident left me with somewhat of whiplash and back aches, on top of that iv'e had gastric flu so my energy levels where down to the dogs practically crawling all over.Hopefully this week it will pick up and i can slog away trying to make my flat presentable and soemwhat a reflection of me.

And it was my best friend who tied the knot recently,was indeed a fairytale wedding and one of the happiest moments ever to see my oldest n dearest friend get married.I have a few more wedding to go this year and def running out of outfits.Last year i remembered saying when last have i been to a wedding and this year its like a rat race every week,proposals and wedding and receptions.

On that note our six months anniversary is coming up and Thursday we getting registered my official wedding licence yay!i will be a Mrs Basha then.

Well lets ive moved over to Tongaat (the farm) and well i don't think i'm adjusting very well.Im terribly homesick and miss my family tons n tons,but i guess someday in your life u have to sacrifice and everyday you cant be happy and have no issues.

Thailand - def an experience

I never knew Thailand was so huge a whole country on its own,i never knew there were so many thousands of people living in poverty trying to make a living, trying to survive.

Bangkok at first sight is beautiful but beyond the magnificent airport is broken buildings and pollution enough to choke you to death.Traffic consist of bicycles,taxis and expensive cars- so either got it or you dont!an amazing sight is that there are no traffic control there is a gridlock 24/7 and everyone moves in co-ordination and amazing enough theres no accidents or road rage.

Bangkok consist of malls and markets people selling and walking on top of each other everyone is packed like sardines,even in between you find cooking and eating and 100 different smells of food.A place you can buy something for 1000 baht one minute and next minute you can buy it for 10 baht.

Food lets see Thai food is def not for me,its fresh crunchy veggies floating in water ,everything floats in water even the polony and viennas "Wheres the oil n the butter and spices people!!!"

The only thing we could eat and only thing we ate is sea food prawns n prawns with everything i don't want to see seafood for a long long time!

Phuket well we stayed in Patong a place where you can buy and sell beautiful people and well where beautiful people are literally made.Our days were spent doing facials ,massages ,manicures, pedicures and relaxing.It rained all day so slops n shorts n a tshirt was your best bet.

At night Patong came alive with the thai people well selling themselves,It was like sin city itself unbelievable,the only customers were foreiners.In Bangla street you only see pole dancers and prostutites n bars and ping pong shows (xrated shit) i guessed that why the tsunami hit patong only because of all the shit and evil that went on there.

There were lady boys everywhere u cant really tell the difference between one and girl,just they were much taller with bigger hands.In Patong the party never ends every night is like a saturday night.

Thailand is still definitely the Land of Smiles,because the most humble helpful people live there.10 000 000 poverty striken people trying to survive.

Saturday i went in for my routine checkup at the dentist,and to my sorrow i ended up with my first filling and injection,it was funny at first cause i couldn't feel my tongue and mouth and i couldnt talk and after 6 hours it wore off.Eating this weeknd wasn't entertaining at all i couldn't taste anything properly.

I didnt feel like going out sat because of the headache so we stayed in and friends visited us.Sunday we took a drive to Ballito and my valentine treat was beiro Alto an amazing Portuguese prawns place ( 2nd best next to Adega) I ate to my hearts content cos i wasnt eating properly and on my way home i got car sick n threw up everything what a waste lol.

Anyways todays my first valentine as a married person lets see how it goes!!Campus is full of excited lil first years all dressed up and wearing red lol.

I decided to try this new place that chetz went to in greyville called Market,mostly fresh healthy food sold there.It's a quiet peaceful place i felt very relaxed and enjoyed the candlelit atmosphere.For food i ordered a brushetta with halloumi and panfried tomotoes topped with pesto "Devine" just what i need a fresh n light meal. I had a takeaway cheesecake vanilla with choc chips had a taste of it it was also really good def homemade cake.

Movie 'The next three days" was def full of action worth a watch.

The best thing about yesterday was spending time with my hubby i miss him so much :(

Can't believe im married its so strange.

Remembering new people and what uncle n aunty is where and how thats the hard part.i spent the weekend by my husbands house meeting new people and tasting new people's food.Its very different from my family since my family is not so Indian and do almost everything differently.Visit one aunty and they pulling granadilla's and paw paw off the trees always making n baking things all these housewives.

Living in a suburb where everyone knows what you had for breakfast and what happens every second in your house is very odd for me,but i guess i have to get used to it gradually.For now i want to stay at home and in the city i'm not yet ready for the farm life and travelling long distances.

Its an experience thats all i can say and well im always ready for what life has to offer.

I bought some new stuff for my room im over the the whole fuschia pink room with everything pink.Im going for Silver and Deep Purple so lets see how everything turns out,its a more mature couler for my older years to come.

So i went to buy some clinique products cos i love their skin range so i always get free things and this time i got this cool "all about eyes" eye roll on ball thing massage thing,very nice!

Supose to be the month of year for me,but as i get older it just gets more sad n i dnt look forward to it :(
not that all my previous years werent well celebrated like it was a national holiday and everyone celebrated with me,always was such a big party time of the year for me.but now i just getting older and its sad to admit that, lol not like i can do anything abt it.

I can actually say ive changed and so have my ways old age has finally caught up with me,n i prefer to relax n do nothing.My bf has already bought me so much presents so theres nothing else i could ask for plus its in ramadaan so there,i can make lotsa duas that i age well.

We moving now,actually my parents are so we,ve been busy painting and tiling and redecorating ,such fun everything new n out with the old.It will be diffrent i wont be staying central town anymore moving to sherwood, no waking up to bus noises or taxi hooters,no neighbours screaming and fighting ,no more drama.

Now ill have to get my licence that's a must now because theres no busses or taxi's in my area.

Anyhows i started a healthy eating plan 2 weeks ago,tryin to cut out carbs and junk food ,i have relapses on some days but mostly keeping on track.I need to lose the weight i picked up while i wa sick ,how hard is this going to be considering i love food and all i do is eat out,but im sorto managing.I have some friends dieting with me so the company is cool.So far i lost 2 kgs.yay for me!!!!

My first hospital experience mmm was at westville hospital awesome hospital like a 4 star hotel not bad for 8500 a night.Anestetic was the best lol one minute you in ten thearte looking around at the cold room next i opened my eyes 1 hour later all drowsy and happy :) no pain was felt for teh next two days nice big needles kept getting stuck in my thigh.

The post op was painful soon as the meds wore out and i had to go home the pain kicked in full force.i couldnt walk or sit up for a few days but now im all better alhamdz..

We suppose to attend a frends wedding but after the boys picked me up they decided to get spur instead,then it was to suncoast for some gambling fun which wasnt any fun because everyone lost their money.We roamed around a bit ended up at King park after teh sharks match and joined in the fun on the grounds,was fun only thing i got wet and looked like soemthing the cat dragged in afterwards so i made a decision not to take any further pics for the night.

Saturday night continued at traxxx to celebrate a few friends bdays,i dont know why i thought it was my bday and well i was the worst behaved for the night and well most of teh night i had diffrent babysitters lol.What can i say i havent been out in like a really long time n partied.

Lets skip to Tuesday morning because thats when i was myself again,i spent the rest of the weekend at Palms at a frends place sleeping n eating but mostly sleeping.I went home Tuesday night but i wasnt the worst of the lot , my bf and friend only got outta bed last night and went to work today which is thursday morning, Thats the last for them im putting my foot down.

This year hasnt been all good start,it was one thing after the other,i got stressed out never had time for anyone or anything i never took care of myself,i dont know if i lost myself along the way i gave up.

I thought i was strong but there is only so much a person can take without breaking down and wearing out.the last couple of weeks were even harder to deal with cause my body let me down got sick and still am sick, my medication which i have to take for one month is driving me insane making me moody eat more ,feel depresssed it either stay sick or die in the process.

I just feel like giving up sometimes but i wont, i need to pick myself up and know tomorow is going to better in fact its going to be great!lol cos this is not me and i need to be and feel myself again with the help of the Almighty.

Well the 3rd month is over,everyones 40 days are over,things are going back to normal if there is such a thing as normal.

Wednesday night we went clubbing first time this year, we went for ladies night and then had a blast till 3 am,my dad wasnt too pleased about that.So then came teh weekend went to Origin fri night was too much drama n issues for one night i think all teh girls that night cried lol is funny now but at that time it wasnt.

Sat night was house party night i did not partake in the nights festivities i went to sleep early.when i woke up everyone was going to sleep bleh im grown old i know.

Sundayw as fun we went for lunch to my frends house food was awesum thereafter to my bf house for a braai , need i say i did not go hungry teh whole weeknd.sis-in-law went back to Saudi monday evening and thereafter we went for supper again all 100 of us.

This month has been really i dont even knwo the word..Another funeral friday and then sunday evening my mums brother met wit an accident ,some ass skipped the robot n smashed into them hitting the one side my aunt was sitting on,she just her neck thankfully having a BMW does pay off sometimes although the airbags were faulty and didnt open.

Last week i had an intention to dedicate a post to a friend i lost Shaahid G,i was in shock about how suddenly he passed away and that he was no longer here to share hes stories and make me laugh.

This week came with a bigger bang when my aunt and uncle passed away in a car accident,the last two days were tiring and really sad.Wednesday i spent the night in the hospital till 3 am with my 3 yr old nephew who survived the accident.

Life is short and unfair sometimes,but only Allah knows best.

Last night i made the most devine leek n potatoe soup yummmm way better than haleem.

So i decided to try out Dischem laser clinic to see how their facials are.

It was awesome,lots of cleansing and the best part was the magnetic mask that was put on then peeled off with a magnet.I think im going to go for one every month,wasnt expensive though affordable.

Saturday night was hilarious spent it with the boys first was Supper at Jaipur palace the food has improved slightly,they now have a two chefs standing there ready to stirfry ur chinese and another chef making south indian dishes

i had dosa i think it was a pancake with patatoe filling oryt not too tasty or exotic,then i had the chinese rice was lovely but when dont i like chinese rice its my favourite dish that i have not yet seem to have got right.

After that we went to buy a coke from teh garage outside Sibaya and teh big lights was calling us so we went once again to play soem roulette,Last week we found the electronic one very entertaining and quiet addictive,this week it had teh same effect its not too bad if you playing for fun and dun it was i prefer it to teh slot machines.

Well after the boys lost 90 bux i heard alot about SIbaya being the devil lol and they rather prefer spening their money at the club or on food.

We ate ,danced ,laughed ,shared special moments was totally awesome.
Was my bf sisters last week in SA before she leaves for Saudi.

I think i partied to last me the rest of the year,hardly was at home.Went to Casa sun night i had such a blast,it been ages since i went to a normal RNB club,met up with my ex after like 6-8 years cant remember was kool he never changed still the same lol.

Wednesday went to vacca for ladies night TJo! the coverboys were there doing thing eishhh .Nice to look from a distance not upclose n personal.

Thursday i went shopping n to Sibaya for supper ,the buffet was yummy chicken Tikka there was devine.

Friday i was tired couldnt make the mantra party at vacca,just went to suncoast to chill with the guys.

Lets see Saturday was busy mmmm n a bit odd should i say,Went to my bf house for hes nephews bday party and hes sisters farewell,lotsa aunties there n their stories but hes family is kewl ;)

Saturday night was the final farewell for the girls,Was full of drama but sooo much fun. We ended the morning off at my frend Shenz flat for a house party,I was exhaughsted still am,Still in a daze . . . . . . . so ended my 1 week of holidays n partying.

Yesterday felt like a Sunday for me and my bf,Woke up late ate listened to music, went back to sleep,went Suncoast around 7 decided to try my luck at gambling :( wasnt so lucky.

I was wishing for mussel pot thingy from Simply Fish so we went to the one in florida road.I dont eat mussels but i kry the sauce yummy!Anyhows they were having half price sushi,so we decided to try n order something errr we sooo clueless ,didnt know nix about Sushi n what to eat,we ordered the prawn california rolls,was okay i supose,I couldnt even hold the stick properly,sooo sad next time i need a profesional to eat with me.

after that i decided to make my vote count,There was some peoples toi toi sorta outside the voting station so being 8.30 pm i decided ill go home and be safe.I never make it count.

Friday was traxx vs Truth totally freaken awesome.My last jol for a while now,well worth it,Morgan n Eddie were off teh freaken hook hardstyle rocks baby!

Saturday was resting day just chilled with the guys sorta recovery mode ,a planwas to make a move somewhere but we fell fast asleep i never made it home.

Sunday was beach day YAY!And not forgetting braai n we had a lil after party at teh flat.
Monday totally exhaughsted slept n cleaned up my aunts flat.

nothing less tahn a perfect weekend with my friends n my baby!OH i never get an easter egg yet :(

Last two weekends was spent with my friends celebrating B-Days,too many to count.

Last week 28 weekend was spent in umdloti with my frends 4 B-days there which included my bfs n hes twin sista's.We had such a great weeknd,we had a braai friday n partied hard saturday went club hopping n Sunday we spent the evening at the Tongaat Fair on the rides, i didnt expect teh fair to be so big our town fairs normally spread out over a schools grounds not to big,plus the rides were amazing neways i just ate mealies neva wantedto go n then throw up afterwards.

This weekend we were invited to a house party near varsity wit a pool and a leka lil setup,saw my friend luti after ages and some people i havent seen from last year who just went into home hibernation,party totally rocked till 3am.

Its strange how we live near the sea, and take such effort to make the time to swim.ive been begging for weeks to go swimming and finally Sunday i went to ballito,The waves were hectic couldnt stand up at all kept hitting us off our feet and pulling us in.I got tired and moved on to something musch calmer the tidal Pool.

That sounds so much like my life,getting knocked off your feet so many times and yet you back for the rush, you jump back in thinking you ready for whateva is next ,when actually you not but you still jump in with faith.Then you get tired cause you exhaghsted your energy so you move on to something more calmer where you can relax and control.

You can never really control anything in your life.

Anyhows Saturday night we went to see New in Town,so boring i couldnt wait to get out of there,a boring no point movie.

Eish was like yesterday we were excited about going to jhb,Wish it was still coming though.Neways was a blast better than last year,Dancing on the stage in the pouring rain with music n lights was totally wikked and unforgetable a something id liek to do again hehe..

We stayed at garden court Sandton,finally a decent place didnt think we find accomodation after we lost our other one.Was kewl we had 2 adjoining rooms one for the girls n one for boys.

Friday night i went to FTV lounge wasnt that grand i expected more arrg.

My saturday day/night went H20 -truth -ESP finished off 12 midday,I really had a great tiem at ESP.

Clubbing to last me another month.

Yay!Its almost thursday n im off to jozie for the weekend,i cant wait.

I had a lot of stress trying to find accomodation, i found a place but i ended up losing it becos i neva booked it properly but it wasnt my fault now we a bit homeless but we have an option that im not so sure i wana stay at but we will see,eish.

Havent got my outfits yet,went shopping last night didnt find anything interesting tho,Bf got hes outfit with bloody accesories,damn.anyways we plan on leaving fri morning 2 cars.

Saturday was really busy day for me,
I woke up at 6 did my hair.
Went shopping had lunch,insisted my bf take
me to the beach for half hour to feel the water.

Rushed back at 3 changed for my dads friends wedding ,i had to take pics for' hence the pic of the cake, i took it.Yay! for me.

Anyways the wedding was beautiful a timeless love story,shame.

Got back bf was waiting had to make corn soup in the boiling freaken heat,chamnge bath n off to Gateway for bowling with the gang,finished off smoking hubbly in the bubbly lounge opp Gateway,super lekka.

Hometime was at 1.30.

Eish i slept after that.
Sunday was spent at my granny eating as per usual.
Plus spending whole afternoon with my baby relaxing,so sweet.

Totally Rocked,The guys were so hot n sooo Gay.My eyes couldnt enough especially of the bartender.lol.

Friday Assegai Hotel

Orientation for our Postgrad students,beautiful place in hillcrest with a stunning pool that was just sssooo inviting,was a leka day played a few games ate lunch n chilled.

Friday i got all dressed up and my baby took me out for supper to indian connection had teh seafood paltter a bit too strong for me.We met up hana n crew at suncoast checked out the turn up for the Mantra party,such crazy ass indians outside was such a joke,espcially the old aunties with saris eish they need to sit at home and watch dvd's definitely.

Saturday Valentines Day -

Spent the morning relaxing with my Bf,aFternoon went to gateway with Hana and Mellisa to watch 'hes just not into you' I really loved it,I guess everyone can identify with a character there,its just not one senario its quiet a few,and we are often those kinda people when it comes to realtionship or Love.

Saturday nite came and went slowly lol,Our freinds all came over chilled partied hard and never slept can u believe the cheek,they were chatting non -stop till 10 am,i think im teh only one who slept for 2 hours then i couldnt just block out the noise.

Well its the end of January and i dont have any energy at all.I hate being like this cos i always like to be on the move,even when im procrastinating its eventful.

Anyways the last couple of weeks hasnt been good,im sick and work is hectic,i cant think straight most days.nights are spent tossing and turning and uncomfortable.

i sit and think of people in their old age is this what its gonna be like when hit the stage of a permanant illness where u in pain constantly and you get tired of complaining that you resort to saying 'Im fine' when people ask how you are.

Gosh i dont want to get old,i feel like im there already.i just hope this year brings better days.

Well its my first day back at work today ,busy busy taking a break finally now.

The new year so far is great,i had a good rest at home, too much of family but thank goodness its over now.

Lets see new years eve was spent in Tinley manor with the bf frends,then we went passed the ballito party and trax,saw lotsa people outside was fun and i couldnt have asked for a better start to the new year.

The last two weekndz was spent at my Bf house on the north coast,our friends came over we partied a bit,relaxed had a braai,i wanted a rest i got it.

Lets see its been a busy week and a busy weekend,Friday night lets see i went to visit my frend Shen and then popped by the beach club for a party was kewl lotsa memories that place brought back i spent my birthday there last year,Wikkked time.I miss teh bonfires we used to have on teh beach come 4 am in the morning ,beautiful site.

Nehows saturday was spent with the bf lazing around and eating and in the late afternoon marlz picked me up n we was chilling in Umhlanga Sands.There wasnt many clubs happening saturday nite so we went pass Traxx n Panama was very sad,I think i went there after like a year,sucked big time,and they played crap RNb tracks like 4 times over.

Sunday i planned to sleep in but Luthy was nagging to go out,So me n Luthy n Bf went to vaca for a while like an hour at the most then i ended up Ocean Basket eating my favourite soul mate platter,eishh was dream come true i love seafood.

Im kinda staying at home during this week ,i thinnkkk im over doing it,if theres such a thing,trying to watch tv and be good,Not that im not.

After ages i partied n i had such a ball friday night,it was my bf party 'Funkd',we were busy all through friday setting up the place with the lighting n decor it looked over wikked.No pics can u belive that i didnt have time to take out any,think my frend has a few.

THe sound was awesome the lazer light rocked and so did the music,there wasnt too many people around 100 or so.We partied till the sun came up even though there was a few of us.Saturday i slept till 4 pm then aroudn 8pm i went to the wavehouse for the 5fm party that was too off the hook stayed 2 hours then then went home.Im still trying to catch up on sleep sunday i was waking up n sleeping the whole day im gone old now,lol,cant do it old skewl anymore.

Anyhows at least thats over n done with need to get into the groove of gym now,my neck n back is feeling awhole lot better.

Saturday i went shopping i found a pilates cd as well as the gymball in one ,i was very very excited 2 for the price of one plus i got a discount,neways i took it to the garage filled it up and as soon as i got in the house i placed in the lounge on the tiles infront of our nice deepfreezer and decided to give my mom a demonstration.

and two seconds later i fell back and hit my head n neck on teh nice deep freezer,i was out for like 2hours,ay what pain im going through,i havent been to the doctor yet my head n shoulder hurt,think ill go for a check on friday.Poor me im an ass clown really for doing that on teh floor.At least saturday nite was cold i stayed at home.

Sunday i was up early went shopping with the boys for the party,we travelled far n wide and back again i was home at 11 pm eish was a long day but i throughly enjoyed getting up to no good.

I did nothing basically,just sat n watched movies and ate evey kind of junk food mostly chicken,im looking a overgrown chicken now eishhh...

My Weekend In Bakerton

I spent a few days in Bakerton ,springs after Eid with my best friend Luthy.Was kewl went to work with her hanged out at east gate more like walked our feet off.

Saturday we went to the H20 in Boksburg in the late afternoon,Djs on the main dance floor were off the hook ,met up with my bras from durban and had an awesome time.

5 am sunday morning i was back in durbz ,back to the drama of my friends,now wanting to kill each other,eishhh.

The drama never ends.

Im still got my own drama between me and my boyfriend has been a tuff week for me,he told me hes leaving for UK next year,but such is life uncertain and a rollercoaster most of the times.

Im on the last chapter of my book that kept me company this weekend,i didnt even notice the weekend that flew pass.

This book follows the love lives of girls that are ready for marriage and what its like to live under the shariah law and what kind of behaviour is expected of girls like them from elite saudi families.

Lots of life lessons and too many love lessons to be learnt, we take for granted the freedom of way of life we have.

But reading the book i realised that men all around the world no matter what are still the same.There was a section in the book which descibes each kind of male and the reason for their kind of behaviour,all psychology and very enlightning.

Its already the end of ramadaan,and the days have gone by so fast its shocking.

This year i experienced something different and last night i was really upset and my group of close friends, i was trying to understand why was everyone fighting non stop at each other and gossiping,it was just hurtful and awful,that they spend the whole month praying and in dhikr and at taraweeh but it doesnt stop them from being fighting and being angry.

I am victim to such anger as well,i have no idea why my bfrend is ignorning me for a week now,previous to that we were fighting every week in ramadaan for no reason at all.

I can say that i do remember when last i had butterflies and it was this weekend...

I remember when i was younger i used to get it alot and when u see a guy u have a crush on or when something happends for the first time or unexpentantly.

This weekend after 2 weeks i saw my bfrend n i had butterflies and the strange thing is we both felt it...weird i know after going out with someone for 1 n half years.

i can say that love is hardest hing i had to endure my whole life its something that can make and break you and toy with your emotions,it sux if i had to do it over again i wouldnt fall in love ,im not strong enough rather not live on the edge and gaurd your feeling against these people that try and convince you otherwise.

Thats what i am,the last week has been tiring nad taken a toll on me.

My granpa passed away last week friday and was buried a week later.
I think because it took so long fo rteh funeral everything was not laid down to rest until we actually had a chance to say goodbye,its still unbelievable but u cant hold onto someone foreva i was just blessed to have him for such along time.

Such is life of uncertantity i duno where im going, i feel sometimes like i just wantto give up on tehgood things in life.Is it just a fantasy to believe that everything will be good n fine oneday and forget the bad thing and hope they will stay in the past.

Why cant i just be happy,i do make the most of everything?????
